Chris Dudley (countertenor), has been a soloist with numerous groups including the Washington Bach Consort, the Handel Choir of Baltimore, the Washington National Cathedral, the Washington Choral Arts Society, the Georgetown University Concert Choir, & the Chapel Hill Community Chorus, the Norfolk Chamber Consort, the New Dominion Chorale, the Brattleboro Concert Choir, the Fort Washington Community Chorus, the Deer Creek Chorale and at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

hris has BA in Music from the University of East Anglia, and is a graduate of the Masters of Music, Performance & Pedagogy Program of the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins.
 
Mr. Dudley is  the Artistic Director of The District Eight, a group of eight singers, who perform music of all genres.

In late 2017, until late 2019, he took a break from his music career of teaching and performing, to focus on famil and a move into a full-time real estate career.  As of late 2019, he is returning slowly to his performing, and hopefully plans to be singing with all his former professional groups again by the 2020-2021 season.  Stay tuned.

Outside of singing, Chris is a Life Member EMT & ambulance driver with the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad (riding on Monday night since 2001), has a part-time teaching studio and is a Realtor , licensed in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, and West Virginia, with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, PenFed Realty.
